Oldham District AGM
Oldham Borough District AGM, will take place on Thursday 14th June at 7.30pm. The AGM is being held at County Headquarters can we hope you are able to attend.
Royton Exolorers enjoying their week long summer camp at Great Tower in the Lake District. Climbing, abseiling, mountaineering, a bit of time on Windermere and the obligatory camp fire. Great to be back out doing what Explorer Scouts should be doing.
There will be a DBS Drop-In session on Saturday 24th July 10am-4pm & again on Sunday 25th July 1pm-4pm with Eddie at County Headquarters (380 Rochdale Road, Middleton M24 2ST). If your DBS needs completing please come on the above dates with your ID documents such as passport, driving licence, birth certificate etc. It should not take more that 30 minutes to process you, & the kettle will be on. Just to let you all know, this evening I had my 1 to 1 meeting with Cathy Ward the County Commissioner and I have agreed to stay on has the District Commissioner for the next 5 years. I would like to thank you all for the support and dedication you have given over the past 5 years in making the District grow and develop, into the success story it is.
